Project Overview

Project BP4-R039 is located in in Selma between Thompson Drive and River Oak Drive. The project proposes to replace the existing culvert (No.# 500537) on River Road (S.R. 1928) carrying Mill Branch under the roadway. The culvert is being replaced because it is nearing the end of its useful lifespan.  

A temporary offsite detour is expected to be used during construction. The detour will likely use West Oak Street and Buffalo Road, a distance of about 2 miles.  Access to all properties along the project corridor will be maintained throughout construction.   A map showing the detour route is shown below. The estimated construction duration is 6 months.
