Proposed series of safety improvements to the existing pedestrian facilities at the intersection of Hodge Road and Princeton Town Street in Wake County.

Project Overview
The North Carolina Department of Transportation proposes a series of safety improvements to the existing pedestrian facilities at the intersection of Hodge Road and Princeton Town Street.
Improvements include
- widening existing sidewalks on the east side of Hodge Road to 10-feet
- widening existing sidewalks on the north side of Princeton Town Street to 10-feet
- shifting the existing Mingo Creek Trail crosswalk at Hodge Road to the north of the Princeton Town Street intersection,
- addition of concrete islands to make the crosswalk safer for bicyclists and pedestrians
