B-4937: Replacement of Bridges on I-95 over CSX Railroad
NCDOT is proposing to replace the bridges on I-95 over CSX Railroad near Kenly in Johnston County.

Project Highlights
The proposed improvements would extend along I-95 from Truckstop Road (S.R. 2399) to U.S. 301.
The replacement structure will be a 3-span bridge approximately 270 feet long.
The proposed bridge will include:
- Two 12-foot travel lanes in each direction with a concrete median barrier
- 15-foot inside paved shoulders
- 12-foot outside paved shoulders
Construction will be inplace with no detour route.
