Project Overview
The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes to construct a roundabout at the intersection of Potter Road (S.R. 1357) and Forest Lawn Drive (S.R. 1358) in the Weddington area of Union County.
The roundabout is being constructed to increase safety and increase traffic mobility for the traveling public.

Detour routes: (map below)
Roundabout construction will require an 8-10 week road closure resulting in an off-site detour.
Roads that will be used for the off-site detour are :
Chestnut Ln., Matthew-Weddington Rd., Antioch Church Rd., N.C. Highway 84, Waxhaw Indian Trail Rd., and Old Monroe Rd.
