Pag-alis ng mga Harang sa Abot-kayang Housing Development and Preservation Subcommittee (RBSC)
Ang Removing Barriers to Affordable Housing Development Subcommittee (RBSC) ay sinisingil sa pagrekomenda ng mga pagpapabuti sa Unified Development Code at iba pang proseso ng Lungsod upang mapadali ang mas abot-kayang pagpapaunlad ng pabahay sa San Antonio. Ang mga layunin ay maghatid ng mga iminungkahing pag-amyenda sa UDC para sa 2022 UDC na ikot ng pag-amyenda sa maikling panahon. Ang mga layunin sa kalagitnaan ng termino ay subaybayan ang proseso ng pag-amyenda ng UDC at tukuyin at imungkahi ang mga pagbabago sa proseso sa ibang mga proseso ng Lungsod. Sa mahabang panahon, magsusumite ang subcommittee ng mga rekomendasyon para sa mga update sa ibang mga proseso ng Lungsod.
Nagsimula ang gawaing ito noong 2019 upang tumuon sa pagbabawas ng pasanin sa gastos, pag-alis ng mga hadlang sa pagpapaunlad ng ADU, at iba pang mga patakarang nauugnay sa abot-kayang pabahay. Nahinto ang trabaho noong 2020 dahil sa pandemya ngunit nagpapatuloy sa 2021.
Itutuon ng subcommittee ang gawain sa Nobyembre 2021-Enero 2022 sa pagmumungkahi ng mga pagbabago sa UDC upang alisin ang mga hadlang sa regulasyon sa abot-kayang pabahay. Itinatag ng NHSD ang technical working group na ito sa pag-alis ng mga hadlang sa paggawa at pangangalaga ng abot-kayang pabahay gaya ng inirerekomenda ng Balangkas ng Patakaran sa Pabahay ng Mayor. Ang grupo ay naging subcommittee ng Housing Commission noong Oktubre 2021.
Mga Istratehiya para Baguhin ang UCD para Alisin ang Mga Regulatory Barrier sa Abot-kayang Pabahay. Ang sumusunod ay isang tumatakbong listahan ng mga posibleng estratehiya na maaaring talakayin bilang isang paraan upang alisin ang mga hadlang sa regulasyon sa abot-kayang pabahay.
