Project Highlights
The proposed improvements include a potential reconfiguration of the I-40/Lewisville-Clemmons Road interchange to address traffic concerns. Other improvements under consideration include turn lane improvements, new access options, and intersection updates along Lewisville-Clemmons Road to address traffic and safety needs. Sidewalks are proposed along the corridor to connect existing sidewalk segments, including across the I-40 bridge.

RESOURCES FOR PROPERTY OWNERS
Although the N.C. Department of Transportation works to minimize the number of homes and businesses displaced by a road project, it is inevitable, in many cases, that a certain amount of private property is needed. The following information explains right of way acquisition and answers questions about the process.
